Chinese players unveil a factor affecting the inventory digestion rate of the major polyolefins producers in the country to SSESSMENTS.COM. The players mentioned that the producers’ inventory was digested fast. However, the high digestion rate is not due to robust demand, but owing to the maintenance shutdown at the producers’ plants. Demand from the downstream customers is still sluggish. 

According to the market players, the inventory level is low. As of Tuesday morning (May 26), SSESSMENTS.COM was informed that the inventory level stood at 765,000 tons, reduced by 25,000 tons from a day earlier.
