Local PE, PP offers on cash, EXW China basis (including 13% VAT in CNY term, excluding VAT in USD term)
A China-based polyolefins producer release latest PE and PP offers for the domestic market following market dynamics. Talking to SSESSMENTS.COM, a producer source reveals that this week price for LLDPE Film C4 at CNY7,175-7,200/ton ($1,014-1,017/ton), up between CNY75-100/ton ($10-14/ton) as compared to a week ago following firm feedstock price. For PP cargoes, both PP Homo Raffia and PP Homo Injection offers also increased between CNY25-50/ton ($3-7/ton) as compared to the same period. All local offers are on cash, EXW basis and including 13% VAT.
Demand-wise, although there is development compared to last week, demand for LLDPE Film C4 still cannot be considered as healthy as it is the low season for PE in China. Sluggish demand also reported continuing to be seen for PP Homo Injection grade, although PP Homo Raffia is enjoying steady demand. Talking about supply, the producer shared with SSESSMENTS.COM that the availability of PE and PP cargoes in the domestic market is a bit tight.
