NewsSSESSMENTS: Cold Response From Indonesia Market On Latest Import PE, PP Offers

Author: SSESSMENTS

Latest import PE and PP offers receive a cold shoulder from the customers in Indonesia. A global trading house informed SSESSMENTS.COM that US origin LLDPE Film C4 offers are at $890/ton, in which recorded an increase of $40/ton compared to the level in early June. In response to the offers, customers placed bids at $825/ton for US LLDPE Film C4 cargoes but were rejected. Meanwhile, import LLDPE Film C4 from the Philippines stands at $890/ton, jumped up by $70/ton as compared to level on the beginning of June. The trader pointed out that the latest LLDPE Film C4 offer from the Philippines failed to attract a bid from customers, while overall demand for import LLDPE Film C4 remains low. All import offers on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis.

Moving to import PP cargoes, the trader reveals that PP Homo Raffia offers from a Saudi producer available at $960/ton, up by $80/ton compared to level on early of last month. The trader shares their thought to SSESSMENTS.COM that the PP Homo Raffia offer is quite competitive, yet still no inquiries made by buyers. Zero deals also reported for BOPP and PP Homo Fiber cargoes offered by the trader.
