Import PE offers on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis
SSESSMENTS.COM noted that a Thai PE producer has revised PE prices to China following the market movement. As of Tuesday (May 12), the producer decided to slash all PE offers to the country as could not manage to sell any cargoes at the previous day’s levels. Following the market trend, HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 offers were adjusted down by $10/ton as compared to offers on Monday. Meanwhile, offers for mLLDPE C6 dropped significantly by $115/ton as compared to the same period. The latest mLLDPE C6 offers are available at $900/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis.
