Import offers on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port Basis
A global trader house shared with SSESSMENTS.COM the adjustment on June shipment PE price list from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer to China market. As reported, the Saudi producer adjusted down its LLDPE Film C4 offers by $10/ton from last week, now stand at $770/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis. Market talks have it that there were some deals recorded at the same level to the initial offers. For HDPE Film and LDPE Film, the producer decided to maintain offers stable from last week.
More added by the trader to SSESSMENTS.COM, most converters are now still cautious, they are more willing to keep a low inventory on hand, as sales for finished goods in the local and export market are still affected by the Coronavirus issues. As such, the trader thinks that the market would not show any significant changes for the first half of 2020.
