Localized PE offers on cash, FD Indonesia basis, excluding 10% VAT in all terms
Import PE offers on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis
Having a different view with the Thai producer, a global trading house contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM adjusted its import offers for LLDPE Film C4 to Indonesia market. As noted, the global trading house increased import offers for Thai LLDPE Film C4 to Indonesia by $30/ton on a weekly comparison, while the producer itself decided to maintain its export offers to Indonesia stable as compared to the same period. For HDPE Film, import offers from the trader remain stable from last week. Whereas for LDPE Film, no price comparison available since the trader did not offer this grade last week due to no allocation.
For localized offers, the trader is offering Thai HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes at IDR14,400,000/ton ($976/ton) on cash, FD Indonesia basis and excluding 10% VAT. According to SSESSMENTS.COM’s pricing database, the current offers are IDR300,000/ton ($20/ton) lower for HDPE Film and IDR200,000/ton ($13.5/ton) lower for LLDPE Film C4. All on week-on-week comparison. The trader acknowledged that its offers for localized Thai cargoes are much higher than most offers for local cargoes in the Indonesia market.
