Localized ABS Injection offers on cash, FD Indonesia basis, excluding 10% VAT
Import ABS Injection offers on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis
Import ABS offers to Indonesia market emerged with an adjustment this week, yet local trader remains disincentivized. An Indonesian trader contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM informed on receiving import ABS Injection offers from a Taiwanese producer and a Chinese producer at $50/ton lower than last month’s levels, currently available at $1,450/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis. However, the trader remains disincentivized, citing that the reduction made by the producers was below the expectation. “We are expecting to see a huge reduction in import ABS Injection offers,” the trader said. Other than that, the trader also received import ABS Injection offers from a South Korean producer at $1,350/ton on the same payment and delivery terms, which is stable from last week’s level.
In the domestic market, the trader is offering localized ABS Injection cargoes of South Korea origin at IDR22,000,000/ton ($1,507/ton) on cash, FD Indonesia basis and excluding 10% VAT. Demand-wise, domestic sales for ABS Injection resins are shrinking amid slow digestion rate for finished products. The trader mentioned to SSESSMENTS.COM that demand showed some improvements last month, yet this month it starts to slow down again.
