NewsSSESSMENTS: Indian Producers Announced Adjustment On PE, PP Prices With Effect From June 1

Market sources with knowledge of the matter informed SSESSMENTS.COM that Indian PE, PP producers announced local price adjustments. As informed, the leading petrochemical producer in the country decided to adjust up local prices for HDPE and LDPE grades by INR1,000/ton ($13/ton). Similarly, offers for LLDPE grades increased by INR2,000/ton ($27/ton). Meanwhile, offers for HDPE pipes, HM Pipe, LDPE HD, and LDPE Injection Moulding were rolled over. 

For PP, the leading Indian petrochemical producer also moved up all PP grades by INR3,000/ton ($40/ton), except for PP Injection Moulding increased by INR3,200/ton ($42/ton). Likewise, another Indian producer also made an upward adjustment on local PP prices by INR3,200/ton ($42/ton). All changes in offers with effect from June 1, 2020.
