NewsSSESSMENTS: Indian Producers Proceed With Adjustment On Local PE Prices

As SSESSMENTS.COM noted, Indian producers proceed with adjustment on local PE prices. Market sources in India informed that the leading Indian petrochemical producer decided to adjust up local PE prices between INR1,500-3,000/ton ($20-40/ton). Local offers for HDPE grades from the producer increased by INR2,000/ton ($27/ton), except for HDPE Blow Moulding and HDPE Film increased by INR3,000/ton ($40/ton). For LDPE grades, the producer adjusted up offers by INR2,500/ton ($33/ton), except Extrusion Coating went up by INR3,000/ton ($40/ton). Whereas for LLDPE, the producer increased offers by INR2,000/ton ($27/ton) for all grades. All with effect from July 16, 2020.

Likewise, another Indian petrochemical producer also increased its local PE prices with effect from July 16, 2020. As reported to SSESSMENTS.COM, the producer adjusted up local offers for HDPE Blow Moulding and HM-HDPE by INR3,000/ton ($40/ton), while offers for other HDPE grades and LLDPE grades increased by INR2,000/ton ($27/ton).
