NewsSSESSMENTS: Indian PVC Producer Announced Revision For Local Offers (Updated)

Market players reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that an Indian PVC producer has announced revision for local offers. As noted, the producer decided to adjust up local PVC offers by INR6,000/ton ($80/ton) with effect from May 16, 2020. According to the sources, the producer’s offers are available at INR67,000/ton ($889/ton) on EXW Kota basis and INR68,870/ton ($914/ton) on EXW Delhi basis. All excluding 18% GST.

Upon receiving the information, SSESSMENTS.COM contacted the producer to verify on the steep increases in PVC prices as other local producers only adjusted up by INR2,000/ton ($26/ton). The producer source stated that the news regarding INR6,000/ton ($80/ton) price hikes is untrue.
