Import LLDPE Film C4 offers on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis
An Indonesian converter told SSESSMENTS.COM that the converter was puzzled when bids for LLDPE Film C4 from two Middle Eastern suppliers were rejected although the bid levels were not too low and considered reasonable. The first supplier offered LLDPE Film C4 from the Middle East at $840/ton while the second supplier at $820/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis. The bids submitted by the converter were at $10/ton lower than the initial offer levels to both suppliers. The converter is wondering why the suppliers turn down the bids and plans to resubmit the same bids to the first supplier.
