An Indonesia-based converter shared with SSESSMENTS.COM about contrasting adjustment on local and localized PE, PP offers in the country. As compared to last week, the converter received offers for localized LDPE Film of Malaysia origin from the largest local trading house in the country with an upward adjustment of IDR250,000/ton ($17/ton). Likewise, localized LLDPE Film C4 offers of Malaysia origin from the same trader surfaced at IDR700,000/ton ($49/ton) higher than last week’s offers.
As for PP Homo Film grade, local offers from the largest local trading house emerged with a decrease of IDR250,000/ton ($17/ton). Contrastingly, the converter received offers for localized PP Homo Film of Malaysia origin with an increase of IDR200,000/ton ($14/ton). Meanwhile, other local traders applied an upward adjustment on local PP Homo Film cargoes between IDR200,000-450,000/ton ($14-31/ton). All changes compared to last week’s offer levels, as SSESSMENTS.COM noted.
