Import PP offers on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam Main Port basis
Market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM that June shipment PP offers from a Malaysian producer to Vietnam are adjusted in the same direction with Saudi cargoes. Compared to May shipment, the Malaysian producer decided to increase offers for PP Homo Raffia and PP Homo Injection by $10/ton. The current offers stand at $860/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam Main Port basis. Likewise, offers from Saudi origin to Vietnam also surfaced with an increase of $20/ton as compared to a week ago, available at $840/ton on the same payment and delivery terms.
Further added by the sources to SSESSMENTS.COM, offers for PP Homo Raffia from another Saudi producer are heard available at $20/ton lower, at $820/ton. In contrast, offers for the same product from the leading Indian petrochemical producer are heard at $850/ton. However, both offers are deemed too high. All offers are on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam Main Port basis.
