SSESSMENTS.COM noted that the latest import Vietnamese PP offers to Indonesia are captured firmer amid the market upheaval. This week, an Indonesian trader reported on receiving offers for import PP Homo Raffia from a Vietnamese producer at $860/ton, LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port Basis. Similarly, an Indonesian converter also told SSESSMENTS.COM on receiving import offers for Vietnamese PP Homo Raffia cargoes at $860/ton on the same payment and delivery term via a Vietnamese trader. Both agreed that the price is exorbitant, moreover after there are lower PP Homo Raffia offers from South Korea.
Import PP Homo Raffia offers from Vietnam captured remain firm amid the market upheaval. Referring to the SSESSMENTS.COM pricing database, the PP Homo Raffia offers of Vietnam origin on April 14 reached $980/ton-level to the China market, an increase of $150-160/ton on a weekly comparison. To the Indonesia market, the latest offers for Vietnamese PP Homo Raffia cargoes are $10/ton higher than the offers available on April 14. While compared to the offer received at the beginning of April (April 6), the offers have been hiked by $60/ton. At the time of publication, no deals concluded for the latest Vietnamese PP Homo Raffia offers to the Indonesia market yet.
