On June 1, a Chinese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country. Compared to the price list received last Thursday, May 28, local PE and PP prices moved into different directions. Local offers for HDPE grades were generally stable, except for HDPE Blow Moulding increased between CNY100-300/ton ($14-42/ton). Contrastingly, offers for HDPE Cable decreased by CNY100/ton (14/ton) and HDPE Injection 2911 and 2911FS dipped drastically by CNY1,100/ton ($154/ton). Meanwhile, most offers for LDPE and LLDPE across all grades moved up between CNY50-150/ton ($7-21/ton). For PP, offers for some grades of BOPP and PP Homo Raffia were adjusted up by CNY100/ton ($14/ton) while offers for other PP grades remained unchanged as compared to the same period.
