A Chinese trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of May 28. Compared to the price list received on last Tuesday, May 19, local PE and PP prices were adjusted in different directions. Local offers for HDPE Film, HDPE Injection 7260, and HDPE Yarn 5000SC moved up by CNY100/ton ($14/ton). In contrast, offers for HDPE Cable and HDPE Pipe dipped between CNY200-600/ton ($28-84/ton). Meanwhile, offers for LDPE and LLDPE across different grades were adjusted up between CNY50-100/ton ($7-14/ton). For PP, offers for BOPP, PP Impact Copolymer, and most grades of PP Homo Raffia increased between CNY100-200/ton ($14-28/ton) while offers for other PP grades maintained stable as compared to the same period.
