Market sources in Malaysia informed SSESSMENTS.COM that a local producer has started announcing PE and PP price list for May deliveries. Compared to last month’s price list, the producer decided to adjust down offers for all PE grades between MYR200-300/ton ($45-68/ton). For PP, offers surfaced with a reduction of between MYR250-260/ton ($57-59/ton), except for PP Homopolymer grades remain stable as compared to the same period.
