NewsSSESSMENTS: Marketing Arm Of Middle Eastern PE Producer Shrugs Off Malaysian Buyers’ Bids

Author: SSESSMENTS

The marketing arm of a Middle Eastern PE producer informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the producer has shrugged off Malaysian buyers’ bid for HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes. This week, HDPE Film offers from the producer decreased between $20-40/ton compared to last week’s level. Likewise, offers for LLDPE Film C4 declined by $10/ton compared to the same period. However, most buyers submitted bids for HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes at below $700/ton-level, mostly between $680-690/ton on LC at sight, CIF Malaysia Main Port basis. The bids were rejected by the producer citing that such level is unacceptable for now. Further added, the producer’s offers for LDPE Film and LDPE Heavy Duty remain unchanged from last week.
