A global trading house reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that Middle Eastern producers proceed with another round of price changes to the China market, disregard the state of market sentiment. On a weekly comparison, a leading Saudi polyolefins producer initiated price increases on HDPE Film and LDPE Film offers by $50/ton and $30/ton, respectively. Likewise, import LLDPE Film C4 offers from the same producer also moved $10/ton higher as compared to last week. For Qatar origin cargoes, an increment of $50/ton applied on HDPE Film and LDPE Film, while LLDPE Film C4 went up by $25/ton as compared to the same period.
The trader stated to SSESSMENTS.COM that the company still managed to achieve some deals this week despite the flat buying sentiment in China market as buyers continue to show resistance towards high import offers.
