A trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that June shipment PE and PP cargoes from the United Arab Emirates sold out quickly in the Pakistan market. The allocation was limited and has been sold out since the first week of the month. June shipment PE and PP offers across all grades from the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan increased between $40-50/ton compared to a month earlier.
The trader explained that the company managed to sell quickly since demand in Pakistan is robust. The market has shown improvements since after Eid Al-Fitr holiday although most converters are still running at 60-70% of the normal rate. The trader further informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the company is not offering to the market at the moment and waiting for July shipment offers from the producer.
