NewsSSESSMENTS: PVC Suppliers Adjusted June Shipment Offers To Bangladesh On The Back Of Supply Outlook

Author: SSESSMENTS

A global trading house informed SSESSMENTS.COM that PVC suppliers adjusted June shipment offers to Bangladesh on the back of supply outlook. The trader mentioned that US and European PVC suppliers quoted higher prices. A US PVC producer increased June shipment offers to the country by $10/ton compared to levels recorded in mid-April. The producer’s offers stand at $690/ton on LC at sight, CFR Chittagong Port.

Two European producers also indicated high sell ideas, the trader told SSESSMENTS.COM. Both producers mentioned prices at $720/ton with the same payment and delivery terms. As for the reason for quoting high prices, the trader explained that the producers foresee that there would not be many offers available for the Bangladesh market ahead. The trader personally opined that with international PVC prices in an uptrend, buying sentiment will improve. However, PVC demand might also remain stagnant as it is nearing Eid Al-Fitr holiday. Traditionally, buyers refrain from making fresh purchases before the holiday.
