Through a notice written on September 9, Singapore’s Denka announced the company’s decision to cease production of Denka Stryrol. According to a customer letter obtained by SSESSMENTS.COM from market players, the final production will be at the end of November 2020 while the final sales will be at the end of December 2020.
After the final sales, Denka will utilize the existing Denka Stryrol production facilities in Singapore by switching production over to MS resin (Methyl-Methacrylate Styrene Copolymer) and will work together with the Denka Group to promote further specialization of the company’s plastic business.
