Import PP offers on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis
A South Korean producer received mixed responses for May shipment PP offers to China market, SSESSMENTS.COM was told. May shipment offers for PP Block Copolymer available at $850/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis, which is $50/ton lower from April shipment. The producer stated that some deals were achieved at the initial offer level. However, most buyers prefer to monitor the market movement and not in a rush to make purchases.
“We noticed that there is some increment in the futures market, thus, there is a possibility that converters will stock up some volume ahead of the Labour Day holiday. However, we do not think the uptrend in the futures market will sustain,” the producer stated to SSESSMENTS.COM.
