Import ethylene-based PVC offers on LC at sight, CIF Main Port Basis
A China-based trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM that South Korean PVC cargo is gaining good responses from the market. To China, June shipment offers from the producer stood at $700/ton on LC at sight, CIF Main Port Basis with deals achieved at $10/ton lower than the initial offer level.
The Chinese trader then passes the information from the producer to SSESSMENTS.COM regarding price adjustments for June shipment to the India market. As informed, the producer offered at $730/ton to India market on Tuesday (May 19). However, upon receiving positive responses from the market, today's (May 20) offer is adjusted to $740/ton-level, an increment of $10/ton from a day earlier. All offers on LC at sight, CIF India Main Port basis.
