Local PS offers on cash, EXW China basis (including 13% VAT in CNY term, all equivalent in USD term excluding VAT)
A local PS producer in China informed SSESSMENTS.COM that supply issue continues to provide cushion for local PS prices in the country. This week, the producer maintains a stable offer level for GPPS Injection and HIPS Injection from last week’s level as PS supply at the producer’s end and in the domestic market is not that ample. Upstream, as of June 25, the total inventory level of SM at China ports recorded at 322,100 tons, increased by 2,600 tons from last week. While at the trader’s hand, the inventory stood at 221,100, increased by 1,600 tons. As for demand, PS demand in China remains flat during the week as most players currently on holiday mood due to the Dragon Boat Festival which falls on June 25-27.
