Import PE offers on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis
A China-based trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that a Thai PE producer has announced its fresh export offers to the country. Compared to last week, August shipment offers from the Thai PE producer surfaced with a further upward adjustment of $30/ton for HDPE Film and $20/ton for LLDPE Film C4. The trader commented that the latest offers from the Thai PE producer would not gain a positive response from buyers as converters prefer to purchase prompt delivery cargoes than forward basis amidst many uncertainties in the market.
