Import PE offers on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis
Description: *For mid to end August shipmentA Thai producer applied various strategies on PE pricing to China market, as SSESSMENTS.COM noted. A global trading house reported that the latest import PE offers from a Thai producer to China market moved in the opposite directions. This week, HDPE Film offers from the producer decreased by $15/ton as compared to last week’s offers. Contrastingly, offers for HDPE Yarn and LLDPE Film C4 from the same producer increased by $20/ton and $10/ton respectively, as compared to the same period. Meanwhile, offers for mLLDPE C6 grade maintained stable from last week. More added by the trader, even though there are no further updates regarding the delayed Iranian PE cargoes, PE prices will have limited room to increase further as the current level has reached its peak.
