Author: SSESSMENTS

The representative of Thailand's Indorama Polymers Public Co Ltd informed ssessments.com that the company is planning to conduct a maintenance shutdown and expansion work at their PET plants. According to the source, the company is planning to conduct maintenance shutdown at the company’s three PET plants with a total capacity of 400,000 tons/year. Additionally, the company will commence an expansion work at one of the plants. The plant capacity is expected to increase by 10% to 440,000 tons/year after the completion of the expansion work.

To ssessments.com, the source reported that the maintenance shutdown and expansion work will deliberately hold in October for about fifteen days, as during the period, PET demand in Thailand is in a traditionally low season. As of August 30, no exact date for the maintenance and expansion work was revealed to ssessments.com.
