A Chinese trader informed to SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of April 23. Compared to the price list received on Wednesday, April 22, local offers for HDPE grades are generally stable, except for HDPE cable, HDPE Pipe (PE 80), and HDPE Yarn 500SC dropped between CNY100-200/ton ($14-28/ton). Contrastingly, offers for LDPE and LLDPE grades increased between CNY100-150/ton ($14-21/ton). For PP, offers for some PP Homo Injection, PP Homo Raffia, PP Impact Copolymer, and PP Random Copolymer grades are adjusted down between CNY300-500/ton ($42-70/ton), while offers for other PP grades remained unchanged as compared to the same period.

Offer given for local PE, PP on cash, EXW China basis (CNY term including 13% VAT, all equivalent in USD excluding VAT)
