A Chinese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of June 17. As compared to the price list received on Tuesday, June 16, the latest local PE and PP prices were adjusted in different directions. As informed, offers for HDPE grades generally remained unchanged, except for HDPE Cable increased by CNY100/ton ($14/ton), while HDPE Pipe (PE 800) decreased by CNY100/ton ($14/ton). In contrast, offers for LDPE and LLDPE across all grades moved up by CN50/ton ($7/ton). As for PP, offers for BOPP, PP Homo Fiber, and PP Homo Raffia were adjusted up between CNY100-200/ton ($14-28/ton), while other PP grades remained stable as compared to the same period.
