NewsSSESSMENTS: Upstream Market Conditions Encourage US Producer To Adjust Offers For PE Cargoes To The Philippines

Author: SSESSMENTS

Due to higher upstream cost and tightness in supply, US producer adjusted import PE cargoes offers for the Philippines market. A converter informed SSESSMENTS.COM that US producer released the latest offer for LLDPE Film C4 at $820-840/ton, which according to the converter is quite high compared to the previous month; even though the converter doesn't remember the exact numbers from a month earlier.

From Singapore plant, the producer also released an offer for mLLDPE C6 between $1,080-1,060/ton. SSESSMENTS.COM was informed that the offer is $40/ton higher compared to May. The producer cited factors in the form of ethylene prices still going up and tightness in LLDPE Film C4 supply which caused the mLLDPE C6 prices to remain firm around $1,000/ton-level. All import offers on LC at sight, CIF Manila Port.
