A Vietnam-based converter informed SSESSMENTS.COM on the latest import PE offers surfaced in the country with three-digit adjustment on certain grades. As compared to two weeks ago, the latest HDPE Film and LDPE Film offers from a Thai producer emerged with an increment of $20/ton and $10/ton, respectively. Likewise, the converter received HDPE Film and LDPE Film offers from a Saudi producer at $20/ton higher as compared to last month. Meanwhile, offers for HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 from a South Korean producer surged by $100/ton and $110/ton respectively. The South Korean producer also applied upward price correction of $90/ton on LDPE Film and LDPE Coating grades, all offers compared to last month's levels. The converter opined that some buyers might be reluctant to accept those high prices.
