Localized PE offers on cash, FD Haiphong basis (VND term including 10% VAT, all equivalent in USD excluding VAT)
Import PE Offers on LC at sight, CIF Haiphong Main Port basis
A Vietnamese converter revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM regarding movements in localized and import PE offers in the country. As revealed, the company received fresh offers for LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer. This week, import offers from the producer stand at $860-880/ton for LDPE Film and at $770/ton for LLDPE Film C4. Compared to last week, the current import offers from the producer increased between $30-40/ton.
Meanwhile, offers for localized Malaysian LDPE Film and US LLDPE Film C4 cargoes were reportedly stable from last week. Speaking of the demand, sales for the converter’s end-product are not showing any improvements from a week earlier as people are still limiting outdoor activities to avoid contracting the virus.
