NewsSSESSMENTS: Vietnamese Converter Unveils Bid For Latest PVC Offers From Japan, Rejected

A Vietnam-based converter notified SSESSMENTS.COM the bid submitted for latest PVC offers from Japan origin. As informed, July shipment PVC offers of Japan origin emerged at $100/ton higher than last month’s levels to the Vietnam market, with the latest offers stand at $780/ton. As of Wednesday afternoon (June 10), the converter submitted a bid at $20/ton lower than initial offers or at $760/ton. However, the bids submitted by the converter was rejected by the producer, citing limited allocation. Meanwhile, PVC offers for Indonesia and Thailand origin surfaced at $780/ton and $790/ton, respectively. All offers on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam main port basis.
