Import PP offers on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam Main Port basis
A Vietnam-based converter reported to SSESSMENTS.COM regarding the correction on import PP offers from South Korea origin to the country. This week, offers for PP Homo Injection and PP Homo Raffia from one of the South Korean producers decreased by $20/ton as compared to last week’s offer levels. The converter opined that the downward correction made by the producer was triggered due to the poor responses from buyers stemming from unattractive offers in the previous week. Therefore, the producer opted to lower the prices to gain buyers’ interest.
