NewsSSESSMENTS: Zhejiang Petrochemical Starts Up New Mega Cracker

Chinese producer Zhejiang Petrochemical (ZPC) successfully started up its new mega cracker in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, China, market sources told SSESSMENTS.COM. The new cracker has a capacity to produce 1.4 million tons/year ethylene. TechnipFMC provided its proprietary technology and process design for ZPC’s new unit. In its release dated May 4, the contractor, said the startup took only about three days to complete but did not disclose the exact startup date.
