PlantSSESSMENTS: China’s Zhongke Refinery And Petrochemical To Start-Up New PE, PP Plants

Market sources reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that a part of Sinopec Group, China’s Zhongke Refinery and Petrochemical is expected to start production at its new PE, PP plants located in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, China, in October 2020. As noted, the company will run two new PP plants with a production capacity of 200,000 tons/year and 350,000 tons/year, respectively. At the same time, the producer will bring on-stream its new HDPE plant with a capacity of 350,000 tons/year.
