A source from BASF-YPC Company Limited informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the company had brought its polystyrene (PS) unit off-stream. As noted, the company’s PS unit has been shut since May 5 and expected to resume production on June 20. Located in Jiangsu, China, the PS unit have a production capacity of 200,000 tons/year.
