Market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM that Zhong Tian He Chuang, a joint venture between Sinopec and China Coal Energy Group, plans to restart its LDPE unit. According to the sources, the company’s No. 2 LDPE unit with a production capacity of 120,00 tons/year will restart on July 23. Located in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, unit No. 2 was previously shut for 4 weeks maintenance in early June 2020, which was further extended to 7-8 weeks. More added, the company also operates No. 1 LDPE unit with a production capacity of 250,000 mt/year at the same complex.
