RumourSSESSMENTS: Oman’s Orpic To Start Production At New PE, PP Plants

Market talks have it that the state-owned Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic) is set to start production at its new PE and PP plants. Located in Oman's northern industrial city of Sohar, the 440,000 tons/year HDPE plant and 440,000 tons/year LLDPE plant, along with the existing 340,000 tons/year PP plant, with the addition of 300,000 tons/year from the expansion project, is expected to start production by July 2020.
