- A trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the offers for local PE cargoes across all grades have been adjusted higher between CNY50-100/ton ($7-14/ton) compared to last Friday supported by the relatively low domestic inventory as well as the firm prices from the two leading polyolefins producers. While from the import market, the offers for Middle Eastern PE cargoes across all grades from the trader’s end maintained stable from last week. Despite the upward adjustment in local offers, the trader stated that buyers prefer the wait-and-see stance at the moment.
- Another trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that their offers for local LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes increased between CNY50-200/ton ($7-28/ton) and CNY50/ton ($7/ton) respectively as compared to last Friday’s level. While for HDPE Film, the offers were kept stable compared to the same period.
