NewsSSESSMENTS: Orpic Plans To Shut PP Plant

The state-owned Oman Refinery Company (Orpic) is planning to shut its PP Plant, market sources told SSESSMENTS.COM. The plant, located in Sohar, Oman, will be shut on October 6 until the end of November for planned maintenance work. Orpic have built some stocks to meet customers' requirements during the shutdown of the 340,000 tons/year PP unit. However, the stocks quantity is not large and the producer will divert their cargoes to certain markets, the sources noted.
