Comments by market players on LLDPE Film C4 market as follows:
“We adjusted down LLDPE Film C4 offers by $5/ton compared to offers given on last Thursday. Some deals were concluded at the initial offer level,” a Thai PE producer revealed.
“We do not have any allocation to China this week, but for references, our offers for LLDPE Film C4 stand at $780/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis,” the leading Saudi polyolefins producer informed SSESSMENTS.COM.
“We received offers for LLDPE Film C4 from a Saudi producer at $20/ton lower than last week’s levels. However, we are uninterested to buy as the market is very slow,” a trader based in Ningbo commented to SSESSMENTS.COM.
“We are offering LLDPE Film C4 of Singapore origin at $750/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis. The supplier is willing to accept $700/ton with the same payment and delivery term, but with delayed shipment,” a trader based in Taiwan reported.
“Compared to last month, LLDPE Film C4 offers from Qatar remain stable while from Saudi decreased by $10/ton,” a Chinese trader told SSESSMENTS.COM.
“Buyers placed bids at $680/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis for LLDPE Film C4 cargoes of Japan origin. The bid level is $50/ton lower than the initial offer level. No deals were concluded so far,” a trader in Shanghai reported on April 22.
“LLDPE Film C4 offers from Kuwait increased by $30/ton compared to last month,” a Chinese trader commented.
“The leading Indonesian polyolefins producer sold LLDPE Film C4 at $680/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis at the beginning of the week. However, current offers have moved to above $700/ton due to stronger futures prices,” a Chinese trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM on April 23.
“We decreased LLDPE Film C4 offers by $40/ton compared to Monday’s level. As of Thursday, our offers stand at $730/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis, same as our lowest deal so far. Hence, it is not true that we sold LLDPE Film C4 at $700/ton with the same payment and delivery term,” a Thai PE producer stated.
“We asked for more LLDPE Film C4 cargoes to a Thai PE producer, but the producer told us the allocation has sold out,” a Chinese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM on April 24.
