“Offers for Middle East and US origin cargoes are scarce lately. This week, we managed to conclude deals for LLDPE Film C4 from the Middle East at $700/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis. Offers for LLDPE Film C4 cargoes from the U.S that are already in Port Klang, Malaysia stood at $750/ton with the same payment and delivery terms. The offers are unattractive compared to local offers,” an Indonesian converter informed SSESSMENTS.COM.
“LLDPE Film C4 offers from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer increased by $10/ton compared to last week,” a Vietnamese trader stated.
“LLDPE Film C4 offers from the U.S have not been available yet, but we believe that offers to Indonesia will be at $750/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis. The high level is due to higher production cost after the increases in natural gas prices,” a global trading house told SSESSMENTS.COM.
“Our offers for LLDPE Film C4 were adjusted up between $5-15/ton compared to last week following the uptrend in crude oil and ethylene prices. Besides, buying sentiment has improved as the Indonesian government plans to ease the large-scale social restriction rules,” a Thai PE producer revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM.
“The latest offers from a Thai PE producer for LLDPE Film C4 increased by $50/ton compared to a week ago. The producer did not reveal reasons behind the adjustment, but it might be due to higher crude oil prices and better sales in China,” a Vietnamese trader informed.
“LLDPE Film C4 offers from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer stand at $750/ton on LC at sight, CIF Ho Chi Minh Port. The cargoes will be shipped from Singapore port,” a Vietnamese trader reported.
“We are already offering for June Shipment this week. The allocation for LLDPE Film C4 is limited and only available for regular customers. As for offers, the levels are between $10-20/ton higher than two weeks ago. There were some deals concluded at $5/ton lower than the initial offer level,” the marketing arm of a Middle Eastern PE producer said to SSESSMENTS.COM’s team.
“The leading Saudi polyolefins producer has announced June shipment offers. The producer’s offers for LLDPE Film C4 are $20/ton higher than last week. Deals were concluded at the initial offer levels as the producer is firm on the offers. The cargoes will be shipped from Singapore or Malaysia bonded warehouses,” a Vietnamese converter reported.
