NewsSSESSMENTS: Supply Issue At Taiwanese Producer Encourages Global Trading House To Adjust Localized PVC Offers In India

Author: SSESSMENTS

A global trading house revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that due to supply issue at the leading Taiwanese PVC producer, the company adjusted up localized PVC offers in the India market. As compared to offers on Monday, July 20, localized ethylene-based PVC cargoes of Taiwan origin from the trader were hiked by INR500-1,000/ton ($7-13/ton). The trader decided to increase the offers following the tight supply and relatively higher PVC prices in the open market. More added, according to the trader, the leading Taiwanese PVC producer is having tight supply for some special grades. However, this issue would not affect the shipment of materials from the producer citing that most shipments are still on a fixed schedule.
