Market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM about the issue of force majeure on the second largest Taiwanese PVC producer’s supply. The sources confirmed that there is no force majeure on PVC supply. However, the company’s PVC plant is running at a slower rate due to the shortage of VCM. Hence, the producer also reduced PVC allocation.
