A source with knowledge of the matter reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that Formosa Plastics Corporation (FPC) will conduct maintenance at its PVC and VCM unit. Located in Mailiao, Taiwan, the company’s PVC unit with a capacity of 520,000 tons/year and VCM unit with a production capacity of 650,000 tons/year, will be shut for maintenance purposes starting from August 20 to September 30, 2020.
