PlantsSSESSMENTS: Japan’s JXTG Resumed Operations At Cracker Unit

A source with knowledge of the matter revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that Japan’s JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation has resumed operations at its cracker unit on the week commencing May 25. Located in Kawasaki, Japan, the cracker can produce 460,000 tons/year of ethylene and 235,000 tons/year of propylene. Previously, the producer’s cracker was shut down due to technical issues on May 4, 2020.
