PlantsSSESSMENTS: Japan’s Shin-Etsu Chemical To Shut PVC Plant For Maintenance

A producer source informed SSESSMENTS.COM that Japan’s Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. will shut its PVC plant for maintenance purposes. Located in Kashima, Japan, the plant with a production capacity of 550,000 tons/year will be under maintenance for around one month, starting from mid-May to end-June 2020. However, the fixed duration of maintenance has yet to be determined.
