A source with knowledge of the matter revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that Zhejiang Petrochemical Co. Ltd has started up its new Acrylonitrile (ACN) plant. The producer ACN plant with a capacity of 260,000 tons/year has started production since May 20, 2020.
Previously, the producer’s PP plant with a capacity of 450,000 tons/year had started running on December 30, 2019, while the other PP line with the same capacity started on January 15, 2020. Likewise, HDPE and LLDPE plants with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year and 450,000 tons/year respectively, also brought on-stream along with the PP plants.
